I have been studying herbalism and nutrition for about seven years now. Since begining this journey, our family has seldom had to seek outside assistance for medicinal healing. In fact, it has been over five years since any of our children have taken antibiotics for the treatment of an illness. I have learned and experienced amazing things in regards to the seed bearing plants. We have also been removing the dangerous toxins and chemicals from our home, which are so commonly found in health and beauty products, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. I have discovered that natural is better, in most cases. I share this information with you very humbly, recognizing that it is the Great Healer who ultimatley gives us good health, and can take it away at His will.
I am afraid that in our society today, we have forgotten what the word "simplicity" means. A simple plant, a simple fruit, a simple slice of homemade bread, a simple ingredient, a simple word...simplicity. It is my desire to encourage families to rediscover simplicity in their day to day living. We don't need so much stuff clogging up our lives. When was the last time you washed your face with plain soap and water? Most of us today have bottles and jars filled with all sorts of chemical concoctions. We have cupboards filled with chemical sprays and detergents to clean our floors and windows. We have freezers full of foods that are dead and kept looking edible with dangerous preservatives. It is madness.
Our products are simple. That is what makes them different. They are made from simply, simple ingredients straight from God's creation. My motto is "the less ingredients, the better". Our goal is to create an entire line of all natural, organic products that will encourage and assist you in your journey towards a more simple life. Our soaps and other natural skin care products are handcrafted with goat's milk from our own farm, herb infused oils, honey and beeswax from family raised honeybees, natural plant materials and essential oils. We test every ingredient that we use on ourselves first! Most of the skin care products that people use on their skin today is full of harsh detergents and chemical ingredients. They are harmful to the skin and to the environment. The skin is like a sponge. It absorbs everything! You should take the time to read the labels on the products that you use. From Fields and Gardens is offering an alternative in our unique formulas. We have plans to expand our product line in the coming months, so if you like what you see here, make sure you check back often. **Herbs and alternative methods of healing can be a controversial subject. Many in the field of herbalism tend to "spiritualize" the herbs.
