Instead of offering herbal glycerites and tinctures, we are now offering dry herbal mixtures. These mixtures will be pre-mixed and ready for you to make your own tincture, glycerite, or infusion at home. The work of choosing the correct herbs to make an effective blend is already done for you. All you will need to do is pour the herbs into a clean, sterilized glass quart size mason jar and cover the herbs with your choice of grain alcohol (80 proof vodka works) or vegetable glycerine & distilled water. If you are a kombucha drinker, you may want to add the herbal blend to your brew for a strong medicinal drink! The fermentation process will digest the herbs and allow for even greater benefit and better assimilation.
Some of the herbal blends will be strictly for external use and those herbs can be covered with olive, almond, safflower, or some other appropriate oil to make an oil infusion.
Detailed instructions will be included in each shipment and we will soon have a page devoted to guiding all of you do-it-yourselfers on how to make a quality herbal tincture/glycerite, and even salves and balms!
**You can still by our salves, balms, and astringents already made for you. If the product says "herbal blend" in the description, it is a mixture of dry herbs for do-it-yourselfers. Otherwise, it is a finished product, packaged and ready to be used.
